ATHENS, Tenn.- It was Senior Day for the women's soccer team on Saturday. The team left the field with a 1-0 win against the Milligan University Lady Buffaloes after honoring 14 seniors before the game.
The goal the team used to win the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) game occurred in the first half. Madisen Hodges scored the goal for the team, taking a pass from Krista Eik Hardardottir and turning it into the lone goal of the game. The final buzzer rang with the team still leading 1-0.
The win moved the team's record to 9-1-2 overall and 9-0-1 in the AAC.
