
Walker Announces 2025 Women's Soccer Schedule
ATHENS, Tenn.- The 2025 schedule for the women's soccer team was released by head coach Bryan Walker on Tuesday. The team will play 14 regular-season games, including seven home games at the TWU Athletic Complex.
TWU begins the eighth season under Walker with two scrimmages before playing their first regular-season game against Campbellsville University on Thursday, Aug. 21. Campbellsville finished the 2024 season ranked No. 13 in the NAIA. After an exhibition game against NCAA Division III opponent Maryville College, the team opens Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) play with back-to-back road games against Columbia College (Saturday, Sept. 6) and Milligan University (Wednesday, Sept. 10).
The team plays their first home game of the regular season on Wednesday, Sept. 13, against Johnson University. The schedule takes the team back on the road for a midweek game on Wednesday, Sept. 17, against Truett McConnell University, the defending AAC Tournament Champions and No. 22-ranked team from 2024, before closing out the month with back-to-back home games. The first of the two home games is against the newcomers to the AAC, Spartanburg Methodist College, on Saturday, Sept. 20. The team ends the homestand with a game on Wednesday, Sept. 24, against Brenau University.
The first five games the Lady Bulldogs play in October alternate between the away and home matches, beginning with a road contest against Reinhardt University on Wednesday, Oct. 1. The team returns to their home field on Wednesday, Oct. 8, for a matchup against the University of Pikeville. A road trip on Saturday, Oct. 11, sees Tennessee Wesleyan play Montreat College, while Wednesday, Oct. 15, sees the Lady Bulldogs face Union Commonwealth University at home. The team's final road game of the regular season is set for Saturday, Oct. 18, against Columbia International University. The schedule sees TWU close out the regular season with two home games, the first on Wednesday, Oct. 22, against Bryan College. The regular season concludes with the team's Senior Day contest on Saturday, Oct. 25, against Bluefield University.
The AAC Tournament is set for Oct. 28- Nov. 8. The top ten teams in the regular season standings will qualify for the tournament.
