
Women's Indoor Track and Field Opens 2024-25 Season Outdoors at Ben Martin First Chance Meet
OAK RIDGE, Tenn.- The women's track and field program started the indoor portion of their schedule on Wednesday. The team competed at the Ben Martin First Chance Meet, a small meet held outdoors and featuring four other teams from the Appalachian Athletic Conference.
The Lady Bulldogs had one student-athletes hit a NAIA National Standards to qualify them for the national championship meet. Samantha DeGrace hit the National "A" Standard in the High Jump while also winning the event with a mark of 1.70m.
DeGrace also won the 60m Hurdles with a time of while Morgan Stancil won the 60m Dash (7.99) and the 200m Dash (26.68) and Molly Woodby won the 3000m Race with a time of 11:32.81.
