
Five From Women's Outdoor Track and Field Finish Top Ten at Emory Thrills on the Hill
ATLANTA, Ga.- Five members of the Women's Outdoor Track and Field team finished in the top ten of their events at the Emory Thrills on the Hill on Friday and Saturday. The team also saw a member hit an NAIA "B" Standard to qualify for the NAIA National Championship Meet.
Samantha DeGrace hit the NAIA "B" Standard in the High Jump, winning a jump-off by jumping over the raised bar at a height of 1.67m to win the event. DeGrace also ran a first-place time in the preliminaries of the 100m Hurdles, finishing first in the second heat with a time of 14.50.
A time of 19:44.97 in the 5000m Race placed Molly Woodby in second place in the event.
Lisa Schoen was fifth in the Javelin with a mark of 34.19m
Grace Clemens finished ninth in the 100m Race by running 12.61 in the event.
The 4x100m Relay Team consisting of Clemens, Ann Moses, Mckenna Hubbard, and DeGrace finished 10th with a time of 49.62.
