ATHENS, Tenn.- The volleyball team welcomed the Reinhardt University Lady Eagles to James L. Robb Gymnasium on Friday. The visitors defeated the Lady Bulldogs 3-0 in the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC).

Throughout the match, Reinhardt consistently pulled ahead, but Tennessee Wesleyan showed resilience, especially in the first and third sets. Despite some individual efforts by Tennessee Wesleyan players, such as kills by Olivia Miller and Jia Weathersby, they were unable to close the gap, falling in the first set 25-20.

The second set saw the visitors take the momentum early. The team was not able a find a rhythm on offense, falling in the second set 25-13.

In the third set, Tennessee Wesleyan fought back from a 24-17 deficit, securing two more points before Reinhardt clinched the final point with a kill. Ultimately, Reinhardt's balanced attack and minimal errors outmatched Tennessee Wesleyan's efforts.
