Women's Cross Country Complete Season at AAC Championships

KNOXVILLE, Tenn.- The women's cross country team ran at the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) Championships on Friday. The 6k race was held at Cherokee Park in Knoxville. Along with racing for a conference title, the Lady Bulldogs were also trying to qualify for the NAIA National Championship Meet as a team or individually. 

A time of 23:28 placed Molly Woodby in 24th place, making her the first TWU runner to cross the finish line. Kaelyn Pluta ran the course in a time of 27:24 to finish 58th while Victoria Verran was 59th with a time of 27:30. The next runner to complete the race was Chloe Dailey, who ran a time of 31:23 to finish in 77th place. Reagan Goforth ran a time of 31:35 to earn 80th place. Anna-Lise Kirton completed the runners for the team in the race with a time of 44:57 to finish 91st.

The team accumulated 237 points in the standings, finishing 9th in the team standings.

This concludes the season for the women's cross country team.
