Women's Cross Country Has Strong Showing at Maryville College XC Invitational

MARYVILLE, Tenn.- The women's cross country ran at the Maryville College XC Invitational on Friday. The team did not have enough runners in the race for a team score. 

Kaelyn Pluta had the top time for the team, running the course in a time of 26:23 to finish in 19th place. A time of 29:55 put Victoria Verran in 45th place to go along with a 64th place finish by Anna-Lise Kirton (41:15) and Alexis Christiansen (55:43).

The team will be back in action at the NAIA Appalachian Challenge in Knoxville, Tenn. on Friday, Oct. 24.
