Leon Takes Home AAC Weekly Award

WALESKA, Ga.- David Leon was named the Men's Tennis Player of the Week by the Appalachian Athletic Conference (AAC) on Monday. This was the fifth edition of the award.

Leon took home the award based on his play against then-No. 19 Union Commonwealth University. In Tennessee Wesleyan's 7-0 win, the senior won both of the matches he was involved in. The Alicante, Spain native was part of a 6-0 win in the No. 3 doubles and won the No. 4 singles match 6-1, 6-4. Leon holds an 11-3 record in singles and an 8-4 record in doubles. 

This is the first weekly award for Leon. The next edition will be announced on Monday, April 7.
